Nearly everyone has some experience with mental illness. Whether you’re seeking treatment for yourself or someone you love, we offer help and hope.

What Our Mental Health Programs Treat

We treat most major mental illnesses at our Holyoke, MA facility including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Borderline Personality Disorder
  • Psychosis
  • Suicidal Ideation

Any one of these illnesses can be devastating, and some people with mental illness may also struggle with addiction. But your illness doesn’t define you. We treat the whole person, including your physical and mental well-being, with opportunities to heal, learn, and grow.

What Does Help Look Like?

  • Emergency Mental Health Services

If you or a loved one is experiencing a medical emergency, including a drug or medication overdose, call 911 immediately.

Our behavioral health professionals are available for mental health emergencies that require immediate care, such as danger to self or others or a mental disorder that causes inability to maintain adequate self-care and functioning. Our experienced teams work compassionately and quickly to assess, recommend, and provide necessary safety measures, monitoring, and stabilization in times of crisis.

  • Inpatient Mental Health Treatment

When you’re an inpatient at our mental health clinic, you’ll receive individualized care in our modern facilities that include recreational areas, outdoor areas and semi-private hotel-like rooms. We’ll help you learn how to manage your mental health issues through a combination of therapy approaches, wellness education, activities and medication.

  • Outpatient Mental Health Treatment

Whether you’re transitioning from inpatient care or starting treatment for the first time, together we’ll develop a plan that meets your individual needs. We offer two types of outpatient treatment: Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

    Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art.

    Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.
